Monitoring and Evaluating Student Well-Being

If we are serious in our efforts to promote student well-being and in moving projects in that direction, and if we are serious about ensuring that our programs develop and improve over time, then we must carefully monitor and evaluate our activities. Monitoring and evaluation should not be an "add on" or an afterthought. They must be factored and built into any project or program from the outset. Appropriate indicators – to be selected as part of the project design process – are critical to effective monitoring and evaluation.
